This automatic potato planter fits tractors with a rear three-point linkage KAT1.

This special machine for planting potatoes enables the tubers to be transplanted easily. A good cover of potatoes is important in order to keep the number of green tubers in the crop as low as possible.
A furrow is drawn through the coulter on the loose field and the so-called nut tuber is placed in this at regular intervals. A dam is then formed over the potato. The planting distance and the planting depth are adjustable.
In this fully automatic planting machine, the tubers are removed from a storage container using a scoop device (scoop chain or cup belt) and then placed in the furrow.

The planting depth is 60-120 mm.
